We know that the problems plaguing the world of today are the result of a culture war that has raged for a very long time and a culture war that has also engulfed the Roman Catholic Church.  Many have absorbed, or internalized, the values of the dominant culture, which is based on lies and comprises the culture of death.  Others have, quite simply, sold out for material and personal gain.  And perhaps even more have quit believing in the Faith and the existence of Heaven, Purgatory, and Hell. 

 

In the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus Christ said to each of us, "You are the salt of the earth.  But if the salt loses its taste, with what can it be seasoned?  It is no longer good for anything but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot."  (Matthew 5:13) 

 

If we are to be the salt of the earth, then we must know the Faith, and, perhaps just as importantly, we must know who we are.  And, that is what RomanCatholicReport.com is about.  Telling you about what is really going on, realizing our identity as Roman Catholics, coming together, and building a culture of life that benefits everyone by building good lives on this earth, attaining Heaven, and avoiding Hell, after this life is over.
