We know that the problems plaguing the world of today are the result of the war waged by Satan against God and His creatures.  

Many have absorbed, or internalized, the values of the dominant culture, which is based on lies and comprises what the Popes have recently called the culture of death.  Others have, quite simply, sold out for material and personal gain.  And perhaps even more have quit believing in the Faith and the existence of Heaven, Purgatory, and Hell. This is dangerous -- many souls will be lost as a result.  Remember, in the Sermon on the Mount, Jesus Christ said to each of us, "You are the salt of the earth.  But if the salt loses its taste, with what can it be seasoned?  It is no longer good for anything but to be thrown out and trampled underfoot."  (Matthew 5:13) 

If we are to be the salt of the earth, then we must know the Faith, and, perhaps just as importantly, we must know who we are.  And, that is what RomanCatholicReport.com is about.  Telling you about what is really going on, realizing our identity as Roman Catholics, coming together, and building a Catholic culture that benefits everyone by teaching the Truth so people know how to live, that they might attain Heaven while avoiding Hell after this life is over.

Some people call us "edgy."  We do comment on the news from a Roman Catholic viewpoint, and that is why we get compliments and criticisms on our short headlines about stories in the news and on the Internet.
